the road to san Francisco

after a couple great nights in Vegas, Pete Georgie and i decided to continue on the trip to San Francisco.  Hamish with his bad back and Marshall's arthritis saw them spend a few extra days in Vegas, meeting us in LA at a later date.
We left Vegas via Death Valley (some of the best riding for the whole trip) heading for June Lake, where we stayed the night before heading to San Francisco via Yosemite national park. After a great night at the local pub in June Lake we left early, only to be held up by the bus sustaining damage from a wayward deer, punching a hole through the transmission cooler and the radiator. We made it the local garage were they advised that the bus was a lost cause. Pete and i applied a bit of Aussie ingenuity and before you new it we were back on the road.
The ride through Yosemite was fantastic, the air became cool and crisp and the scenery was superb.
We hit San Francisco at about 6pm, cleaned ourselves up and went out to dinner at pier 35.
